We’re at a pivotal moment….

We are at a pivotal moment.  With just 30 days to November 6th, volunteers throughout El Dorado County are working hard and having fun inspiring and motivating voters to vote and be part of  bringing a ‘blue wave’ (or at least purple) to our county. We expect record turnouts and, if we win, we’ll do so by small voter margins.  Every door that get’s knocked on, every phone call made, message left, postcard mailed, text sent, and mailer sent is critical to elect principled leaders who understand the local issues facing El Dorado County.

Want to be part of flipping CA 4 and El Dorado County from Red to Blue (or at least purple)?.. here’s what you can do now to be part of this :

  • Share, share, and share this newsletter with like-minded friends and family. Clip, email and/or post on your personal email account, Facebook, Twitter, or other social media, information about these Get Out the Vote (GOTV) activities.
  • Visit the El Dorado County Democratic Headquarters office at 4540 Post Street, Suite 230, El Dorado Hills.  It’s open 7 days per week: Monday & Friday, 10am to 4pm; Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am to 6:00pm; Thursday, 10am to 8:00pm; and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 6:00pm.  …or call the office at 916-312-3008 and talk with a volunteer.

El Dorado Democratic Party Phone Bank and Postcard writing

We’ll train you! We have phone scripts, postcards and experienced volunteers to help you out.

Come anytime, between 2pm and 6:00pm and stay as long as you can. Snacks, refreshments, and friendly volunteers provide lots of support.  We appreciate any and all assistance.

California Away (CalAway) Canvassing

Only 30 days til Nov 6. And the ballots will be mailed out starting October 8, that’s Monday! We hope that YOU have made your voting plan and, if you are a vote-by-mail voter, you will fill it out and get it mailed quickly. What positive, democratic energy we will be casting into the universe! And that also helps the various groups: Morse campaign, Dem groups, and others know who to keep canvassing and calling.

For CalAway in El Dorado County, we still have “turfs” of registered Dems who need a reminder to vote in Cameron Park, Placerville, and a handful in El Dorado Hills. These one-on-one conversations with voters are the most effective ways to influence voters. Join us!

  • October 7, Sunday, Cameron Park staging
  • October 13, Saturday, Placerville staging
  • October 14, Sunday, Cameron Park staging
  • If you cannot canvass, why not visit www.calawayteam.com and make a donation to help us cover our costs for postage and printing?

Thanks, and hope to see you soon!
PS. We still need postcards written to registered Dems that we cannot reach by canvassing. Can you help?  If so, contact Lorraine 916.220.2820 and Zoe 916.812.3574
